Verisign, the company that controls the cost of .com and .org domains, is again raising the cost of .com by 7%. Many other companies have announced price increases. Evolve Web Hosting has NOT announced a price increase.

The majority of domain registrars will be charging $17 or more per year beginning September 1, 2024 to renew .com domains.

We have opted to keep our renewal rate of $16 per year beginning September 1, 2024 - we will be absorbing the 7% increase on all .com renewals.

We will be increasing the cost to register and/or transfer a new .com domain by $1. In the spirit of being a great provider and keeping our customers happy, we chose to not be greedy and raise our price just because Verisign and so many others are.

Beginning September 1, 2024 - the price for .com domains will be as follows:

Register: $14 (+$1) per year, per domain

Transfer (to Evolve Web Hosting): $14 (+$1) per domain

Renew: $16 (no price increase) per year, per domain

Even though we will not be increasing the renewal rate now, we always recommend renewing your domain(s) for longer (for up to 9 years) in order to take advantage of current rates. If Verisign gets their way, they will continue raising rates every year for the foreseeable future.
